Herbaceous Perennials

These are all Garden Worthy and long lived plants, they will benefit from occasional splitting or division in time, this keeps the plants vigorous, healthy and prevents them becoming woody in the crown. Plant in groups of odd numbers for a bold effect and mix them with groups of Ornamental Grasses for that 'Designer' look!

Most of these plants will be cut back before dispatch over winter. The heights given are the heights the plant will grow in a season in normal growing conditions.

Ophiopogon
	Ophiopogon bodinieri B & L 12505  'Mondo Grass'. Long, thin dark green foliage for a very grassy effect. Pink tinted flowers hang from arching stems from July - September. Grows up to 25cm. Tidy.
	Ophiopogon planiscapus  Dark green strappy foliage and pale mauve - white miniature star flowers July to September and black fruits. Refined and very hardy. For sun or shade. Grows up to 20cm.
	Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens'  'Black Mondo Grass'. Low arching black leaves all year round. Tiny mauve flowers in July to September with black seeds. Very hardy. Sun or part shade. Grows up to 15cm.
	Ophiopogon wallichianus  'Mondo Grass'. A dense mop of arching dark leaves and pale lilac, hanging flowers in July to September. Spreads slowly to form a bold colony. Grows to 20cm.
