New 'Barberry'. Smaller in size than its parent plant Berberis thunbergii 'Aurea'. Has a flat domed appearance. Bright yellow in spring - summer darkening to a yellow - lime green as the summer progresses. Followed by deep red autumn tints and red berries. Ideal for a short, low maintenance hedge.

'Golden Scots Pine'. Slow growing, golden form of the European and Asian Native 'Pine'. Grows to 12m high approx, the oldest known plant being 700 years old in Sweden. Golden - yellow, needle - like leaves which turn blue - grey as the season progresses. Cones are red after pollination, then globular and pale brown, finally maturing in the second year to form pyramidal green, then yellow - brown cones, when mature. They contain black seeds which are released when the cones open in spring 22 months after pollination. Pollen cones are yellow, occasionally pink. Given an Award of Garden Merit by the RHS.
